Google Business & Local SEO

Ranking in the map pack and winning the click that follows — profile optimisation, reviews, photos, and local citations for businesses people search for nearby.

Best for

Salons, clinics, service centres, showrooms, and any multi-location business whose customers search near me.

How we run it.

Every engagement starts with the profile as it stands: primary and secondary categories, service areas, and whether the name, address, and phone number match what the website and the citation sites already say, because a duplicate listing or a mismatched unit number caps ranking long before photos and posts matter. We will not stuff keywords into the business name or buy reviews; both work for a while and both end in a suspension that takes the listing dark while an appeal runs. The judgement a generalist gets wrong is the primary category — the highest-volume option is rarely the one that matches how the business is actually searched, and changing it later is a ranking event you pay for twice.

Questions about Google Business & Local SEO.

Why is my Google Business Profile not showing up in the map pack?
A Google Business Profile usually falls out of the map pack for a structural reason rather than a content one: the wrong primary category, a duplicate listing splitting the signals, a service area that does not match where the searches come from, or a suspension nobody has logged in to see. We check all four before touching posts or photos, because none of the visible work moves ranking while a duplicate or a suspension is live. Proximity also caps what is winnable, so we track rank by location and keyword rather than from one point, and judge the profile against the searches it can realistically appear in.
Can negative Google reviews be removed from a business listing?
Google removes a review only where it breaches Google's own content policies, so removal is a narrow route and never the whole plan. We file removal requests for reviews that are genuinely off-topic, fake, or left by a competitor, and answer everything else in public, because a measured owner response is read by every customer who opens that listing afterwards. Review generation runs alongside it and gets asked of every customer, not filtered to the ones likely to be happy, since gating requests that way is a policy breach in itself.
